Solvane™ Nasal Strips

The narrowest part of your airway is inside your nose, and it gets narrower the moment you lie down. A spring band holds it open. You can test whether it'll work for you with one finger, right now.

External nasal strips · 30 per box

1 / 1 on a phone · 3 / 2 on desktop A person in bed wearing the strip, lamp on, about to turn it off. Face relaxed, mouth closed. Not the pack.
  • Opens the nose from the outside
  • Holds all night, peels off easy
  • Nothing goes in, nothing absorbed
  • Trial30 nights, risk-free
  • ShippingFree, on every order
  • Drug-freeNothing absorbed, nothing inside

Try the ten-second test

30-Night Risk-Free Trial. Wear them for 30 nights — the whole box. If you're not breathing easier, send it back for a full refund. Your 30 nights start the day it arrives.

What's in the box

30 strips. A flexible spring band that sticks at each end, worn across the bridge of the nose. Hypoallergenic, latex-free, and black rather than beige.

Drug-free. Nothing is absorbed and nothing goes inside your nose, so there is nothing for your body to build a tolerance to.

How to use them

Clean, dry, oil-free skin — no moisturiser underneath. That is the single most common reason a strip lifts in the night.

Centre it across the bridge of your nose and press the ends down firmly for a few seconds.

In the morning, warm the strip with water first, then peel slowly. It comes off far more easily wet than dry.

Before you try this

For external use only. Do not apply to irritated, broken or sunburned skin. Not for children under 5. Do not wear for more than 12 hours at a time.

Not intended to treat sleep apnea. If you have symptoms — pauses in breathing, gasping, or choking in your sleep — consult a healthcare professional. That is a conversation with a doctor, not a purchase.

Ten seconds, and you'll know whether this is your problem

It takes ten seconds to know whether this works for you — before you buy anything, sitting exactly where you are.

16 / 9 · the test, shown A fingertip on the cheek beside the nose, pulling outward. A 4-6s silent clip beats a still.
One finger, one centimetre out. That is the whole test.
  1. Put a finger on your cheekAbout a centimetre to the side of your nose.
  2. Pull gently outwardAway from your nose. Barely any force.
  3. Breathe in through your noseAnd notice what changed.

Easier? Then the narrowing is somewhere a strip can reach. Holding it open all night is the whole product.

No difference? Then yours is somewhere a strip can't help. Better to know now than after you've paid.

Used it for the first time last night and my god, it solved my congestion issue when I lay down. I was able to actually sleep without having a hard time breathing.

Works well. Sticks on all night and cuts down the snoring. Breathing noticeably better.

They're much stronger than the ones I used for a long time. The shape is much more effective than straight parallel side strips.

I wear it and honestly think it looks fine. That matters more than it should.

I'm always congested when I go to bed, and these have completely changed my sleep in the past couple of days.

Individual results vary. Strips help most when the narrowing is at the nasal valve — the finger test above tells you whether that's you.

  • Nothing goes inside your nose

The cause

The harder you breathe in, the more it shuts.

The cause, shown

Simplified diagram. Not a medical illustration.

The tightest spot in your airway is not your throat. It is inside your nose, about two millimetres wide.

It never blocks you completely, so nobody notices it for years. It just makes you pull harder for the same air — about twenty thousand times a night.

  1. You lie down Blood moves to your head.
  2. The inside of your nose puffs up And the narrow part had no room to spare.
  3. You breathe in The air pulls the walls inward.
  4. The harder you pull, the tighter it shuts Same effort, smaller opening.
  5. You open your mouth Dry throat, noise, awake at 3am.

WITHOUT A STRIP · BREATHING IN

Sucks shut

  • You breathe in
  • The sides pull inward
  • Less air gets through

The harder you breathe in, the further the sides get pulled in.

WITH A STRIP · BREATHING IN

Stays open

  • You breathe in
  • The sides are held apart
  • More air gets through

Held apart, so breathing in cannot close it.

A simple picture of the narrow spot inside your nose. Not a medical drawing.

Not a discipline problem. A few millimetres of your own nose gets narrower the second you lie down. You can't out-try physics — you can hold it open.

Mechanical description of what the product does to the shape of the nasal airway. Not a treatment claim.

Why not just buy Breathe Right?

What to expect

You feel the first one in sixty seconds. The rest takes nights.

The strip works the first night. The rest builds from there.

  1. Tonight
  2. Night 30
  3. Night 60
  4. Night 90
  1. The first night

    You feel it immediately

The nose opens as the strip goes on. That is the part you can test in sixty seconds.

  2. Night 2 – 30

    Nights stop being work

Less of the 3am mouth-open switch. You wake up in one piece more often.

  3. Night 31 – 60

    You stop planning around it

Blocked evenings stop deciding how the night is going to go.

  4. After 90

It is just how you sleep

One goes on with the light off and you don't think about your nose again.

An illustration of the habit, not a measurement. Everyone's nose is their own.

Not only at night

Lying down closes it. So does breathing hard.

Same two millimetres. The last kilometre, the third round, the drive home.

What changes is mechanical.
The rest is what people tell us.

3 / 2 · to shoot Road or treadmill, late in a run. Sweat, not a posed smile.

Running

Your nose quits before your legs do. Held open, it stays usable further into the run.

3 / 2 · to shoot Corner of a ring or a gym floor, between rounds. Hands wrapped.

Training and sparring

Between rounds the nose is how you get back. It stays on through sweat.

3 / 2 · to shoot Driver's seat at dusk, or a desk late in the day. Ordinary, not heroic.

Long drives and long desks

Dry cabin air, and a nose that quietly closes. Nothing absorbed, nothing drowsy.

Who tested it

It was worn in training before it was worn in bed.

She was handed prototypes to wreck. She wrecked several.

My nose gave out before my legs did. Two kilometres in, every run, for twelve years — mouth open from there and just managing the session instead of running it. I thought that was fitness. Twelve years. Everything I'd tried before was built for a face sitting still; wear one under a headguard and you find out how much of holding on was only friction. Forty minutes, sweat, gone. That was the first message I sent them, and the only useful thing I said for about a month. If it survives a shirt coming off over your head it'll survive a pillow.

  • Band, first

Strong enough to lift. Soft enough to wear.

  • Glue, second

Through sweat. Off without taking skin.

  • Then the night

Eight still hours is the easy part.

What it is made of

Every part of it is a decision.

A band that pulls, a glue that holds it, and a finish you'll actually wear. Most of the aisle only specifies the band.

One image for this section
  • A band that lifts

Real spring tension. Not a sticker.

  • Glue that holds

Still on at 3am. That is the test.

  • Off without a fight

Lifts clean. Doesn't take skin with it.

  • Black, not beige

Beige reads medical, so it comes off.

Materials and manufacture described factually. No regulatory status is claimed.
